Having started his formative years in Australia, Russell arrived in London via working in the hospitality industry in Canada. After holding positions at the highly esteemed dining room at The Goring Hotel in Victoria, Russell came to Pearl in 2006 as restaurant manager. Russell is in charge of the day-to-day running of the restaurant, working closely with head chef Jun Tanaka to deliver a memorable experience and high level of service for all guests.

Russell was a finalist at the Catey Awards for Best Hotel Restaurant Manager 2008.
